Overview
The virtual tour of St. A’s is a public tour that anyone is able to access. I welcome others to check it out. This tour was produced using a 360 stitching camera. After photos were taken in key spots, my partner and I stitched them together using our own program. Once finished, it allows users to jump to the certain spots, then take a look around
Why I made this
We made this tour to help our middle school. While the school was able to do many in person tours, many parents could be unable to tour due to work on conflicting schedules. This online tour would be able to replicate the feeling of being in the building, while seeing it on your own time. It was also convenient as it was published only a few months before lockdown. As the school was closed, parents could still take a virtual tour.
