The start of the school year brought many new activities and adventures, with the addition of Loyola’s Performing Arts Center. This PAC is state of the art, and has a fully functioning scene shop to accompany the rest of the space. The space has been outfitted with many tools, such as table saws, panel saws, and drill presses. We are looking to try and increase our tool inventory, looking towards the addition of a ShopBot CNC router, as well as a BOSS laser system. This fall, I was Head of Set for our production of Mamma Mia, and utilized every inch of space I was given to make the set a reality.
