Design Process
Ride elements were chosen that both fit within a certain footprint, along with being "iconic". Track splines were produced in NoLimits2, and then exported into SolidWorks to model.
Fabrication
All display units are comprised of majority 3D printed components. Several parts are laser cut MDF. The base platforms are lasercut with mounting holes to allow for easy assembly and transportation.
Successes
Currently, the three posted displays are at Cedar Point in Ohio. Due to their detail and eye-catching design, visitors have already been asking for them to be made purchasable. On top of this, more parks have reached out with interest in the display units.
