Torque XLC spans 65 feet in length, with no yaw movements. It is an "out-and-back" shuttle coaster, which made it easier for me to fabricate. It consists of a 20 foot long launch drive, followed by an ejector airtime hill, and a consequent vertical spike. Once traversed, the train falls back and returns to the beginning of the course.

The chassis was modeled after the Intamin Mega train, commonly found on rides like Millennium Force. The seat was padded with thick yoga mat, and utilized a 3 point racing harness. The train bogies went through many iterations to allow for better tracking, finally ending with a standard 6-wheel pivot bogie.

Torque uses a pneumatic launch system similar to those found on S&S launch coasters. By accumulating high pressure air, the system is able to release the air into the launch cylinder, pushing a piston, and pulling the train down the track in excess of 2 G's.
