1:22.5 scale model
In collaboration with PrintMyRide, we have developed and started to produce a working model of Top Thrill 2.
Successes
Our train design, as well as track modeling and production led to a very successful design with minimal tolerance issues, while maintaining the look of Intamin box-track.
Setbacks
Even at this scale, our model is still 18 feet tall. With physics principles not correlating perfectly at this scale, we have decided to use what we learned and recreate it at a smaller scale for ease of manufacturing and assembly.
